Physical Education
Our goal at WCHS is to use daily physical education to improve or maintain the fitness level of each student. We will focus on the five components of fitness: cardiovascular, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition. In addition to focusing on fitness concepts, we will also educate the students in over 18 different sports and movement activities. Since heart disease is the number cause of death in the United States, we emphasize cardiovascular fitness at least twice a week. |
